‘Sports’ reveals Xavi agrees principle with Barca, contract until 2024. Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez is set to return to Camp Nou as the new coach of the Azul Grana squad.

Catalan news outlet Diario Sport report on Friday of progress in talks between Barcelona. And Xavi Hernandez saying the two sides had reach an agreement on in principle. The 41-year-old is sign with Azul Grana until the summer of 2024.

Barcelona have sacked Ronald Koeman following Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano. Prior to the presentation, club legend Xavi, who works as Al Sadd’s coach, was the favorite to take over at Camp Nou while Barcelona B coach Sergi Barjuan took charge.
